As part of an ongoing project these photos were taken at an abandoned Torpedo testing range on the shores of Loch Long in Scotland. The purpose of this series is a look into the remnants of what once was a busy Military base and which has now decayed and begun to be reclaimed by nature. The photographs are taken to document what remains of the site and to show a glimpse of what life held for these buildings in the past.

Portraiture

This was a two week project on Portraiture given to me earlier in the year.

I based my project on Archie McPhee, my Grandad. This short series of Medium Format Photographs have been a long time coming. They show a man who has been through a lot in his life and has many interesting and I imagine distressing stories to tell.

His time as a P.O.W in Japan during the second World War has been a subject that has always intrigued me, and a topic I am quite unsure of how to approach him about. However there lies a path to expand this series on.

Hopefully a second body of work to follow up on this.
